Born and raised in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Kitzi Chappelle has remained deeply committed to community service, volunteering, and education throughout her life. Kitzi has maintained strong ties to her hometown and its community and has dedicated herself to supporting the growth and advancement of others.
For more than 25 years, she has worked in administrative roles while continuing her education, earning aTeacher Certification in Cosmetology and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elizabethtown College.
Kitzi has been married for 43 years and is the proud parent of two children and four grandchildren. In her professional career, she has owned and operated a beauty salon and beauty supply business.
Kitzi enjoys attending church, volunteering within her community, and working to preserve local Black history—both oral and written—so that the stories and contributions of our community are remembered and shared with future generations.
